Sumikko Gurashi
Sumikko Gurashi started in 2012 as a series of slightly ominous characters who prefer to hide in the corner of a room. "Shirokuma," a polar bear who is sensitive to cold; "Penguin?" (with a question mark in its name), a penguin who is confused if it is indeed a penguin; "Tonkatsu," an uneaten pork cutlet; "Neko," a bashful cat; and "Tokage," a dinosaur who hides his true identity as one of the last dinosaurs. Toys, books, stationery, video games, and now a feature film have all been inspired by the franchise.
