Suitcase Killer: The Melanie McGuire Story
Based on a shocking true story, Melanie McGuire was a great fertility nurse, married to her ex-Navy husband Bill, and the loving mother of two boys. Melanie does the unthinkable when she falls for Brad, a doctor at her clinic, and gets involved in a steamy love affair with him. After giving Bill drugs and killing him, she cuts him up and puts his body parts in three suitcases. She then throws the suitcases into Chesapeake Bay. But when the suitcases are found on the shores of Virginia Beach, an investigation is started that points to Melanie as the main suspect. Assistant Attorney General Patti Prezioso worked hard to help bring Melanie to justice. Even though she was found guilty, Melanie still says she is innocent.
