A man suffers from amnesia and wakes up in a different body every 12 hours; each time, he is required to find out who he is for the first time. When he first awakens, he is in the middle of a vehicle accident, in the body of someone he doesn't recognize, and he has no idea who he is. This is the beginning of his condition. He gradually comes to the realization that his spirit is possessed by another body, and that this body shifts every twelve hours. During the course of his fruitless search for himself, he meets across a woman who asserts that she knows him. As he delves more into the mystery, he discovers a shadowy group that seems to be on the hunt for him. It is imperative that he locate a way to enter his own body before it is too late.
