Robot & Frank
A dramatic humor, a friend picture, and, for good measure, a heist film. Curmudgeonly Frank resides by himself. His regular calls for visits to his regional library, by which he has a twinkle in his eye for its librarian. His children are concerned about the well being of their father and buy him a care taker robot. Initially resistant to this idea, Frank appreciates the advantages of support -- like a house and healthful foods -- and in the end begins to treat his robot-like a true companion. With his robot assist, Frank's passion for his older, unlawful profession is reignited, for worse or better.
