Tateishi Daisuke, a famous action star, suffers from isolation after a tragic encounter he had during filming left him emotionally scarred. Ayumi, a senior in high school, is being harassed on a regular basis by Chinese brokers and the local yakuza when he comes across her. He makes the choice to defend her from them. It is after this episode that he begins to lose himself and act irrationally, having come to believe that violence is the only way to win the approval of others.
