Pacific Rim
After legions of monsters, called as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a warfare began that could take millions of lives and also consume humanity's resources for a long time on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a particular kind of weapon was invented: gigantic robots, called Jaegers, which can be controlled simultaneously by 2 pilots whose heads are locked at a neural bridge. But the Jaegers are currently demonstrating defenseless facing the persistent Kaiju. On the point of defeat, the forces protecting humanity have no choice but to show to two unlikely heroes--a washed-up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and also an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)--who've been teamed to induce a mythical but apparently obsolete Jaeger from the past. They stand as mankind's last hope against the apocalypse that is mounting.
