After an adolescence spent in and out of foster care, Leon, now19, returns home to care for his alcoholic mother and adjust to adult life. In the ring, Leon finds relief from his lack of schooling and poor financial prospects. He quickly meets Twiggy, a gorgeous rebellious woman hiding in abandoned houses to escape her wealthy family. After hearing rumblings of unrest in the streets, Leon must choose between fighting with his comrades and seeking a new life with Twiggy.
