Up-and-coming sports entrepreneur Steve, who's still reeling from the passing of his dad, has turned into a"November rule" in order to maintain his distance from those that seem to be getting too serious about his or her own relationship. Every November 1st,'' Steve makes a lie up in order to break up with his girlfriend. However when he gives her walking documents to the Leah, he realizes his arbitrary and immature rule has simply lost him the woman of his dreams. But whether he could win Leah straight back seems increasingly doubtful, particularly after she starts dating expert sports celebrity, James Avedon.
