Clifford Peach, an teenager, is finding less than easy to fit in his new high school, at which a bully extorts their lunch money and terrorizes his classmates. Refusing to pay for upward, Clifford enlist the aid of an over grown misfit whose students and teachers intimidates equally. However, their"business relationship" soon turns personal as Clifford and the troubled loner invent a winning alliance contrary to their intimidators - and a very special friendship with one another.
