Love Serenade
Sunray, a Murray River backwater, has little to do besides fish or listen to the radio. Ken Sherry arrives from Brisbane to oversee the station; he's in his mid-40s, disconnected, and thrice divorced. But both sisters next door find him attractive: dimity,20, who works in a Chinese restaurant with few clientele, and cheery Vicki-Ann, a hairdresser with a hope box who imagines a bright future with sherry based on his presence. First Dimity, then Vicki-Ann spend the night with Ken, each thinking he's her boyfriend/fiance. Then Dimity smells fish.
