A dramatization of a single person's rescue of Jewish refugees in the city of Lvov. In Darkness tells the story of Leopold Soha who risks his life to save a dozen people from death. Initially only interested in their or her own good, the thief and burglar hides Jewish refugees for 14 weeks at the sewers of their Nazi-occupied town of Lvov (formerly Poland).
