David Callaway tries to patch his life together in the aftermath of his wife's suicide and was abandoned to raise his daughter, Emily in their own. David are at first amused to discover that Emily has generated an imaginary friend called'Charlie', however it's not a long time before'Charlie' develops a sinister and violent negative, and as David struggles with his kid's growing emotional difficulties, '' he comes to the terrifying realisation that'Charlie' isn't merely a figment of Emily's imagination.
