For more than four decades, Argentine tennis legend Guillermo Vilas has relentlessly demanded that the official rankings (1973-78) be revised in order for him to be recognized as the best player in the world. Eduardo Puppo, a sports journalist who adopted Vilas' demand, fought a powerful sports corporation for more than ten years to prove that Vilas was indeed unfairly displaced from the top of world tennis.
