The story is based on the life of a man who was a very influential philosopher who lived between 1877 and 1960. He goes by the name 'Said Nursi,' and he is originally from Kurdistan. However, he is fluent in Turkish, Kurdish, Arabic, and Persian. He wrote and compiled an excessive number of books aimed at developing personal beliefs, the belief of faith, brotherhood, philanthropy, state loyalty, and, moreover, discovering the problems in Turkey; the causes of weakness, poverty, ignorance, untutored, societal divisions, divergence, estrangement of ethics, and religion. And to figure out how to solve those problems. And his struggle to do this in front of a secret committee.
