Fortune Favors Lady Nikuko
In a quiet northern Japanese coastal town, Nikuko stands out as a vivacious, merry, disorganized, and passionate lady. As a single parent, she is responsible for raising Kikuko, 11. Kikuko is an extremely thoughtful, quietly curious, and methodical young girl. Like any mother of a preteen, Nikuko embarrasses Kikuko, but Nikuko's fearless nature makes her especially well-known in a place where Kikuko herself wants nothing more than to simply blend in.
