Rick Pang (Leslie Cheung) is a IPSC champion who's also a gun expert who modifies his pistols to master his technique known as'double tap', placing two shots in the exact specific spot. At the 1996 IPSC Hong Kong shooting competition, he goes against another experienced shooter called Miu (Alex Fong). Alas , the competition was marred by a depressed stock dealer, a buddy of Miu, that threatened the safety of the competition and lost from the stock exchange, wounding the IPSC manager , one of the friends of Miu. Rick was forced to kill him with his trademark tap. Rick's experience from this encounter was exciting to him for killing others in cold blood and he discovers his lust flow.
