Rising executive Tim Wagner works for a manager who hosts a dinner at which the guest who attracts the greatest buffoon gets a career-boost. Tim plans on not attending until he meets Barry, a man who builds dioramas using stuffed mice. The blundering but very great goals of barry ship Tim's life into a downward spiral, threatening a big business deal and potentially scuttling the involvement to his fiancee of Tim.
