Day of the Stranger
Day of the Stranger, loosely based on Mark Twain's classic novella "The Mysterious Stranger," revives the acid western genre of the 1970s. Caine Farrowood works as a bounty hunter for the vicious kingpin Loomweather. A bounty retrieval goes wrong one day, and Caine is presumed dead. He strangely awakens back home to the comforts of his wife Christina, just when he thinks his life is ended. Caine is perplexed and perplexed about how he came home, but he is soon involved in the retrieval of another bounty. This one is massive, and it may cost Caine not only his life, but also his sanity when he finds himself opposed against someone who may very well be the fallen angel himself.
