Professor Jim Edwards, an inept boarding school headmaster, devises a bizarre plot to raise the profile of his boarding school and thus save his job by passing off his bookie's son as a Middle Eastern prince. The headmaster's wild scheme is complicated further when a Foreign Office official arrives and announces that a real prince will be placed under Edward's supervision, not because of the school's illustrious reputation, but because a gang of kidnappers is unlikely to look for the regal child there.
