Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel
Anne Shirley, currently a school teacher, has begun collecting rejection slips and writing stories. She's the acquaintance of a handsome, rich, mentor, chases a bunny, and wins (for her chagrin) a baking-soda company's writing contest. She refuses Gilbert Blythe's union proposal, and behaves like Diana's maid of honor. Which sends her to teach Kingsport Ladies' College, a private girls school, where she meets resistance from one of those educators, Miss Brooke, and the Pringle clan (one of whom's a rich, handsome mentor ). However, while Anne likes the conflict, and also the friends she makes, she contributes to Avonlea.
