Alley Cat
Yosuke Kubozuka, a despondent ex-boxer self-medicating for injuries that destroyed his career, meets a stray cat who brightens his day, but she's grabbed by a funny grungy mechanic (Kenji Furuya). The odd couple, Maru and Lily, get dragged into a political intrigue with Saeko (Yui Ichikawa) and her kid at the center. Two strays witness another injustice in which the economic and social elite prey on the vulnerable and set out for redemption, or at least tranquil cat ownership.
