A Simple Twist of Fate
When Michael McCann is pitched he becomes a part of a miser and a misanthrope, spending most of his spare money on coins. Living in exactly the exact same town is an affluent family with 2 sons: John and Tanny. Tanny's a boy, whom John cannot restrain, and one night he breaks in to McCann's house, and steals the gold disappears, which nearly confirms McCann's skepticism of humankind. But a mysterious woman dies from the snow out the house of McCann, and her small daughter gets her way and into McCann's soul and life. He also names her Matilda, and increases her, finding a brand fresh joy in life and companionship together with his daughter. But them can tear apart.
