Women's Murder Club
There was a television series called Women's Murder Club that aired on ABC from October12,2007, to May13, 2008. The series is based on James Patterson's 'Women's Murder Club' novel series and is set in San Francisco, California. In addition to Patterson, Joe Simpson, Brett Ratner, and R. Scott Gemmill, series creators Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain acted as executive producers. Additionally, Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts were the show's co-executive producers. Scott Winant directed the pilot. Friday nights at 9:00 Eastern/8:00 Central were the original airtimes for this 20th Century Fox Television production. ABC commissioned three more scripts on October 31, 2007. Two weeks after the show was almost canceled, an announcement was made on February23,2008, that it would return with three episodes toward the end of April. Three new episodes of Women's Murder Club will premiere on April29,2008, replacing Boston Legal at 10:00 p.m. Eastern/9 p.m. Central on ABC. A second season of the show was ruled out by ABC Television on May12, 2008.
