The Octonauts

The Octonauts is really just a children's television show, made by Silvergate Media for its BBC channel Cbeebies. The show is animated in Ireland by Brown Bag Movies but uses British voice actors. The TV show relies on American-Canadian children's books written by Vicki Wong and Michael C. Murphy of Meomi Design Inc.. Even the Octonauts follows an underwater team made up of stylized animals, a team of eight adventurers that reside within an undersea base, '' the Octopod. The topic matter is similar to StarTrek and Thunderbirds combined with Jacques Cousteau. The exotic creatures and areas the team encounter are real marine critters within their natural habitats In spite of the fact that it's sciencefiction in regards to its technology.
