Life of Crime
Life of Crime revolves around a officer called Denise Woods. Place throughout a span of three years (beginning with the Brixton Riots of 1985), the drama follows Denise because she climbs through the ranks of the Metropolitan Police Service. She initially struggles within an extremely male-orientated profession where sexism is rife and female officers must fight to get accepted. But as one breaks September morning, Denise accompanies DS Ray Deans into a crime scene to detect the body of teenager Anna. With a previous encounter Denise is decided to attract Anna's killer to justice. Denise follows her own lines of enquiry because the conditions of the murder of Anna aren't what they appear also works from the instruction and advice of her officers. Whilst the enquiry progresses Denise's fervor for that event leads her to fall foul of her older officer, DCI Ferguson.
