Dennou Coil
Denn Coil, Coil — A Circle of Children, is a Japanese science fiction anime television series that depicts a near future in which semi-immersive augmented reality technology has just begun to become common. The story is set in the fictitious city of Daikoku, a hub of augmented reality (AR) development with a developing citywide virtual infrastructure. It follows a group of children as they utilize augmented reality glasses to investigate the mysteries of a half-real, half-Internet metropolis by manipulating the digital terrain with a range of unlawful software tools, tactics, and virtual pets. Mitsuo Iso, a Japanese animator, makes his directorial debut with Denn Coil, a series that has been in development for over a decade. On May 12, 2007, it made its debut on NHK Educational TV. Denn Coil was greatly anticipated due to the animators involved in its production and its unusually prominent television broadcast time slot.
