The Music Box

When six-year-old Sophie is orphaned guardianship is delegated to her aunt Annabelle. Both move in to a spooky, Victorian house where Sophie unearths a box that is locked having a strange symbol. Annabelle pries the lock open revealing a gorgeous music box. Each time the audio box replayed it frightening and has been wrapped melody plays slightly longer, appealing Sophie even more. Annabelle attempts the aid of clairvoyant and a young child psychologist who soon discover that the audio box has been owned by an evil spirit who attempts to infect Sophie and destroy Annabelle when the audio box begins affecting Sophie's behavior and health. Annabelle finds herself rushing against the attempts to defeat the spirit until the note of the music box and as the haunting intensifies time starts to come to an end plays.
