The Last of the Finest

The Los Angeles Police Department dismisses an elite cadre of vice cops for being overzealous in their fight on drugs. It is obvious that several of their bosses are participating in the drug network. Four of the blacklisted cops get together (which rapidly becomes three as one is killed early) to fight the drug ring undercover. They acquire capital for firearms by defrauding small-time drug traffickers. Then, armed to the teeth, they pursue the kingpin (Boyd).
