The Current

Jake enjoys living in Chicago, but when big city violence becomes too close to home, his parents buy a campground in rural Minnesota and relocate the family. Jake despises living at the campground until he meets Peter, a boy from across the river. The two quickly become best friends and spend a fun-filled summer on the river together. Peter discusses his Christian faith with Jake during one of their conversations. Jake uses his newfound faith to assist a friend in the midst of a tragedy.
