Captain Corelli's Mandolin

His fiancee falls inlove with the Italian commander Every time a Greek fisherman renders to fight the Greek army during WWII. The film is centered on a novel about a Italian soldier's adventures during the Italian occupation of this Greek island of Cephalonia (Kefalonia), but Hollywood forced it in to a pure love story by removing much of the"unpleasant" stuff.
