Blood Child

Blood Child is a true-life horror thriller. Bill and Ashely DiAngelo appear to have it all: a posting to Singapore, a life in paradise, and a new baby on the way. Tragically, she loses the baby and falls into a deep depression. Ashley, unbeknownst to Bill, decides that the only way she can "be" with her miscarried child is to engage in the South East Asian occult practice of raising her own "ghost child." She enlists the assistance of her Indonesian maid, Siti, and assigns her the task of locating a bomoh (witch doctor) who knows how to capture the spirits of unborn dead fetuses. Siti tries in vain to persuade Ashley not to use such dark magic. Meanwhile, in order to put the tragic events of the miscarriage behind them, Bill decides that the couple should return to Minnesota and start their lives over. Ashley and Bill are surprised to find themselves pregnant again several months after their return to the United States....
