At War for Love

It's 1943 and World War II is raging in Europe. In Flora, Arturo and New York the girl of a restaurant owner have been in love, however she actually is promised in marriage to the son of a Mafia boss. There is a way around this, however in order to marry Flora, Arturo needs to get permission from her father, who lives in a village in Sicily. Arturo does not have any money, hence the only way they will get to Sicily is always to isolate at the U.S. Army, that will be aiming for a landing on the island.
