14 Blades

Been trained in clandestine combat from youth, the Jinyiwei were masters of the 14 Blades. Eight being for torture, five for murdering, after a mission failed, and the previous blade booked for suicide. An elite force of agents having a permit to kill, the Jinyiwei committed art and their lifestyles to the service of the Emperor. When the Imperial Court is taken over by bad eunuch Jia (Law Kar Ying), the most useful of the Jinyiwei, Qinglong (Donnie Yen) will be delegated to steal an inventory identifying those still loyal to the Emperor. Unbeknownst to Qinglong, the Jinyiwei have fallen under the hands of Jia, and during the assignment Qinglong is barely escapes with his life and betrayed. Qinglong rally the loyalists to grow against Jia and restore the Emperor to power and must search out now as the most wanted man in the territory. In his way are the most deadly assassins his brethren, in the territory, the Jinyiwei.
